Antistatic filaments

Antistatic filaments are designed to dissipate electrostatic charge. They contain conductive additives that allow for controlled discharge of static electricity, thus preventing its accumulation on the surface of printed objects.

The main characteristics of antistatic filaments include:

  • Electrostatic dissipation: They allow for safe discharge of static charge, which protects sensitive electronic components.
  • ESD protection: They help prevent damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD).
  • Stable electrical properties: They maintain antistatic properties over an extended period.
  • Compatibility with electronics: Suitable for manufacturing packaging and components for electronic devices.

These filaments are often used in industry for manufacturing packaging for electronic components, device casings, and work tools in electrotechnical environments where protection against static electricity is important. Antistatic filaments combine functional properties needed in environments sensitive to electrostatic charge.
