Conductive filaments

Conductive filaments are specially designed for creating electrically conductive objects. They contain conductive particles such as carbon, graphite, or metal powders, which allow the passage of electric current. These filaments are often used in applications such as prototyping electronic devices, manufacturing sensors and capacitive touch surfaces, and creating conductive paths for LED projects.

The main characteristics of conductive filaments include:

  • Ability to conduct electric current (various levels of conductivity in different types)
  • Compatibility with most standard FDM/FFF 3D printers
  • Often matte appearance due to the content of conductive particles

To achieve optimal conductivity and mechanical properties of the final product, it is important to set the printing parameters correctly. Proper printing temperature, extrusion speed, and other settings are key to maximizing the conductive properties of these filaments.
