Fiberlogy BVOH: Water-Soluble Filament

Fiberlogy BVOH is a copolymer of butanediol and vinyl alcohol, designed for creating temporary supports in 3D printing. This filament allows for the printing of complex objects where traditional supports would be difficult to remove or would not yield satisfactory results. With BVOH filament, printing complex 3D objects is extremely easy.

Supports created with BVOH filament are very easy to remove. After printing, simply immerse the model in warm water, where the supports will completely dissolve. This results in a much higher quality model compared to supports that need to be broken off.

BVOH filament is compatible with dual extruder printers and has high adhesion to various types of materials, such as PLA, ABS, PET-G, ASA, flexible filaments (e.g., TPU), and others.

Recommended printing parameters for this material. To ensure the best print quality, appropriate settings for the specific printer and printing conditions must be chosen.

• Nozzle Temperature: 190-220°C
• Bed Temperature: 50-70°C
• Closed Chamber: not required
• Fan: 75-100%
• Flow Rate: 95-105%
• Print Speed: < 35 mm/s
• Retraction (direct drive): 2-3 mm
• Retraction (Bowden): 4-6 mm
• Retraction Speed: 20-45 mm/s
• Drying Conditions: 50°C / 4h
