Fiberlogy Impact PLA: Durable and Precise Material for Demanding 3D Prints

Fiberlogy Impact PLA offers properties that are comparable or superior to ABS filaments while maintaining the ease and safety of printing typical for traditional PLA. This technical filament ensures increased resistance to cracking and breaking thanks to its high impact strength and higher resistance to high temperatures. With these properties, Impact PLA is ideal for creating demanding prints that work in extreme conditions while maintaining the highest level of detail.

Recommended Uses and Applications

  • Toys and their parts: blocks, robots or their parts, car parts
  • Prototypes: tools, conceptual models, switch parts, mechanical parts, elements requiring resistance to higher temperatures
  • Spare parts: elements of machines, equipment, vehicles, electronic devices
  • Tools and their parts: gears, racks, elements requiring high strength
  • Finished products: containers, holders

Detailed Technical Specification

  • Nozzle temperature: 220-245°C
  • Bed temperature: 50-70°C
  • Closed chamber: not required
  • Fan: 75-100%
  • Material flow: 90-100%
  • Print speed: < 100 mm/s
  • Retraction (direct): 2-3 mm
  • Retraction (bowden): 4-6 mm
  • Retraction speed: 20-45 mm/s
  • Drying conditions: 50°C / 4h

Impact PLA is a proven filament for printing functional prototypes and large robust tools. It offers increased impact strength compared to PLA (up to 800%) and ABS (up to 50%), parameters exceeding ABS, and precise detail reproduction.Compared to classic PLA, Fiberlogy Impact PLA offers improved mechanical properties, durability, and print precision, making it an ideal choice for more demanding 3D printing applications.

Packaging

Wound on a spool, vacuum-packed in a plastic bag with a desiccant, placed in a box.
