NYLON PA12 + CF15

The application of carbon fibers allows reducing the weight of the part while maintaining its high structural rigidity.

PA12 + CF has a range of applications across various industries, including the automotive and engineering sectors, and is suitable for creating advanced prototypes, drones, and final products that require increased durability while reducing weight.

The filament is wound on a spool, vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The spool size is 2.5 kg.

Properties:

• double the tensile strength compared to PA12 nylon.
• more than double the stiffness compared to PA12 nylon.
• higher thermal resistance compared to unmodified PA12 nylon (up to 160 °C).

Printing settings recommended by the manufacturer

The following parameters are only suggested printing settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to choose the appropriate settings for the specific printer and printing conditions.

• Nozzle temperature: 255-270 °C
• Bed temperature: 90-110 °C
• Enclosed chamber: not necessary
• Fan: 0-10 %
• Flow: 95-105%
• Printing speed: 35-60 mm/s
• Surface: glass, masking tape
• Retraction (direct): 2-3 mm
• Retraction (bowden): 4-6 mm
• Retraction speed: 20-45 mm/s
• Drying conditions: 80 °C / 4 h

Note

The material has highly abrasive properties. We recommend using hardened steel or ruby nozzles. Use gloves (possibility of micro-damage to the skin). Use a dust mask and safety glasses when handling.
